About Better Steps Learning
Better Steps Learning was created to support workers who support others.
Our founder, a community services practitioner with over a decade of experience in family violence, saw a gap in training that truly addressed the day-to-day challenges of working with men who use violence, without jargon, and without being detached from the realities of practice.
Backed by over 20 years of combined experience in the community health sector, our team brings practical insight to every course we design. Each module is grounded in evidence-based frameworks but stays focused on what works in real conversations, care coordination, and crisis moments.
Better Steps Learning gives you tools you can actually use… whether you're just starting out, building confidence in this space, or looking to sharpen your practice.
